The Huron Valley Schools Board of Education has OK'd a change in the district's policy that means students' grades are no longer tied to how often they come to class.

The Huron Valley Schools Board of Education gave the OK Thursday for a change in the district's policy that means students' grades are no longer tied to how often they come to class.

The Huron Valley chapter of the American Institute of Architects announced the recipients of its 2008 Honor Awards Program recently. The Emerging Architect Award went to Ann Kenyon of Hobbs+Black Associates Inc., Ann Arbor, for her accomplishments in and contribution to the profession.
